Frameless collective

Frameless is a community arts initiative that runs structured, multi-session workshops for children and youths in Gaza. The name comes from a simple belief: real expression has no frame. We don't tell children what to make or how to feel. We open a space, we ask real questions, and we let them answer in paint, in collage, in whatever language comes naturally to them.

Because of the war and the harsh circumstances that kids and youths have gone through. Not everyone can put difficult things into words — but many people can express those same things through drawing, through color, through making something with their hands.

We do art workshops that aims for kids and youths to tell their stories and express themselves by using art as another language. In our workshops the impact we're looking for is not just the artwork. It's the moment a child realizes that what they think, what they imagine, what they feel — it matters. It's worth putting on a wall.

We're kinda against using AI, but we use it in a way of improving and evolving our ideas, so we can see what's the best for our project.
